Who We AreThe 75th Ranger Regiment is a "Realism Unit." This means that we attempt to run our group as close as possible to how a real army unit functions. We make use of a rank system, a chain of command, and weapon restrictions. We also play a very specific style of play called "Realism." You are going to be held to a higher standard of maturity in our unit. This unit is not about being "1337." We accept members of all skill levels, and we do not promote on the basis of skill. Our goal is instead to create a group of people you can not only play with, but respect and enjoy.
The Regiment is involved in two different gaming platforms, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Day of Defeat: Source. Each game is directly overseen and run by different Battalions, those being the First and Fifth, respectively. Under the 1st Battalion, the rank and chain of command structures are based on the modern military system. In the 5th Battalion, however, the ranks and chain of command structure is based on World War II. Above the Battalion levels is the Regimental Command Structure, which ultimately oversees both of the Battalions.
