Welcome to the home of the 3rd Battalion, part of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment — the U.S. Army’s premier direct action raid force. Based at Fort Moore, Georgia, the 3rd Battalion is a combat-ready unit, trained and equipped to deploy anywhere in the world within 18 hours of notification.

The 3rd Ranger Battalion conducts direct action raids, airborne assaults, special reconnaissance, and counter-terrorism operations in support of national objectives. Our Rangers are specially selected, rigorously trained, and held to the highest standards of physical and mental excellence.

As part of the 75th Ranger Regiment, the 3rd Battalion operates under U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), often working alongside other elite units.
